City girls do desert

Last week I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot with one of golfs greatest. It was a great experience and as you can see from the photos below, not a bad setting to be in at sunrise.

City Girls do Country (sort of)

Well, thanks to MeMe of Taste Catering, we had $1000.00 to spend between four people at Cyrus Restaurant in Healdsburg. We spent $1200.00. The experience was amazing. The following day was spent wine tasting and basking in the sun.

Pop's "TOP TEN"

If you didn't know, Jill spent last week with the golfer, Lee Trevino. It was a TV ad for a product Lee used to correct his back problem. Jill represents the product. The shoot took place in Palm Desert at the very beautiful Desert Willows CC.

Pop's gives us a few things overheard during the shoot.

Fun times in San Felipe

The six hour drive to San Felipe was well worth the trip. The kids had lots of fun exploring and playing in the sand. Carson loved the water. Owen played a little golf. And Regan found sand dollars and a "mexican ladybug" that spoke spanish.

"New" Car

All I can say is God is good :) this wonderful car was just dropped in my lap--such an amazing blessing! It's a '97 Ford Explorer and the color is pretty fun--easy to spot out of all the black, white, and silver cars! My mom and I took it down to get it registered and everything the other day and I must say it was fun to drive and I'm so very happy to not be driving the suburban anymore. I think it's pretty self explanitory why!

A Moth It Is

Andrew asked pops what that was flying like a hummingbird sucking up nectar on the lantana, as they sat outside for dinner Sunday. Pops didn't have an answer. Here it is in Tuesday's paper.....it's a moth!

Mimi & pops held a small gathering for Aaron's "36". Tri-tip, cooked to perfection. Julie's famous baked dill amd GARLIC potatoes. Baconless spinich salad and, of course, Aaron's favorite! Mimi's wonderfull cheesecake. Check out Eva....she loved it!

Walk For Cystic Fibrosis

Hi Everyone, I just wanted thank all of you that have donated for my walk. It is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. Below is a video from youtube.com that I found. It is just one story of many that has touched me. I hope it does for you too. The little redhaired girl in the video was one of my favorite CF patients of all time. I've taken care of her for the past 10 years whenever she came into the hospital. Her name is Vanessa. She passed away on Halloween last year and I'm walking for her this year.
