Christmas Break & A Full House

The Murrell household has been complete this last week with all the kids + Nate at home in Pine Valley. We have enjoyed relaxing at home, celebrating Christ's birth, and some events including a trip to the beach, eating at Joe's Crab Shack, hiking Stone Wall, playing Catan, watching It's a Wonderful Life, eating Mom's home cooked meals, hitting up Lucha Libre, and even a show at the National Comedy Theater. Oh yeah, and we did one other thing...what was it?...umm...yes, that's it, Liz and Nate are having a baby! Certainly our Christmas break has been blessed with joyous news and time together. Have you heard about Multnomah's new student-run magazine? Check it out!

I was able to write a post for Multnomah University's blog. It features Multnomah's new online student publication, Muse. It's been very exciting to be able to help with many aspects of getting this new magazine started over the course of the semester - helping with story writing, layout, editing, and setting up a blog and Facebook page (if you're on Facebook, please "like" Muse!).

Thanks for letting me share; hope you enjoy reading!

Caleb's Thanksgiving Visitors from Pine Valley

Cinco De Mustache

At Multnomah University they have Cinco de Mustache. The guys don't shave or cut their hair and then have a great time expressing their creativity. Thought I'd send you Joshua's before and after. Doesn't he look like Joe when we met?

POP'S TOP TEN

"It's a BOY!"

Will and Megan just couldn't wait until the next doctor's appointment so, they took last Sunday afternoon and headed to Orange County to get a sonogram to determine the sex of their little one. Pop's gives us the TOP TEN real reasons for the sudden urge to know.

  • It's got something to do with the color of the car seat
  • She's nuts; he's nuts. Their collective minds are mush!
  • To put a stop to the crazy phone calls suggesting she looks like she's carrying a girl
  • Setting record: "Guiness Book Of Records" had it at 92 days, 11 hours, 22 minutes and 11 seconds to determine the sex of a baby
  • Do you know what it's like sleeping side-by-side with Megan every night not knowing the sex of the baby?
  • For a complete list of reasons send a stamped self-addressed envelope to : Megan Regan 802 Gibraltar, Carlsbad CA. 92008
  • Duh, hello? like, if it were a girl it would've made a difference!
  • The skip in Will's step said it was time
  • Writer to emotional to write #2
  • To take advantage of "Sonograms Are Us" weekend discount
