Well, Josh is off to college. He and the family leave early Monday morning. Pop's gives us the TOP TEN things Josh did Sunday before packing

• Visited some Pine Valley landmarks
• It was three hours of "Guitar Video"
• Online "Texas Hold'em"
• Helped neighbor get raccoon out of attic
• Checked the internet to see the ratio of men to women at Multnomah
• I believe the technical term is : "Chillaxing"
• Ordered an FTD "Goodbye Mom" bouquet
• Spent morning fishing with pops
• Turned surprisingly hostile when Caleb ripped down his Jonas Brothers posters
• Updated his Twitter page

Pop's can't handle the fact that Josh is off to college

As seen in past posts, Julie and the kids spent a week at Fallbrook's very own "Rawhide Ranch". Julie had a few reservations about the ambiance, while the kids had a time of their lives. Pop's gives us the TOP TEN signs it just might have been a a sketchy "working ranch".

• You toss a penny in the entry fountain and it hits a dead pig
• The "cole-slaw" is just mayo and straw
• The three-legged race is won by a three-legged cowboy
• Your hamburger has a long, thin tail
• Dead horse + 1,000 volts = 8 seconds of horseback riding
• The strange-looking kid that keeps biting everyone turns out to be a giant cockroach
• Every time a kid complains about being homesick, the nurse simply gives her more of her Prozac
• The water level in the pond rises whenever someone flushes the toilet
• That ain't a mint on your pillow....if you know what I mean cowboy!

After a week of riding horses, milking goats, archery, riflery, rock climbing, lanyard making, stall cleaning, and animal science, the kids had a new appreciation for the comforts of home.
