Bill, wife and five children

In the late 1930's Bill Harris' grandfather purchased 120 acres on top of a hill overlooking Escondido and the San Pasqual valley. He planted almost the entire acreage in assorted fruits and built what is now Robby and Anne's dining room, kitchen and playroom. The balance of the home was constructed 10 years later after the war. In one of the photos you can see Bill with his grandfather at the pond.

Bill and his five children, spouses and twenty grandchildren visited yesterday. Bill Harris had not set foot in the house 56 years when he was 13. He and his family lived right down the street on Mary Ln.
