Esther Bolick's Famous Orange Marmalade Cake


 My boss ( and friend) Jackie and I share a love of Jan Karon's books in the Mitford Series. Your mouth waters as you read of the yummy things the people in the small town of Mitford enjoy. One character is famous for her Orange Marmalade cake, so we just had a take a couple hours from our work to recreate this special cake. Jan Karon has wisely put together a cookbook in companion to her novels. Jackie and I decided it would be fun, like in "Julia and Julia", to make all of the recipes in the book. So. it should be an adventure
