Life in PDX is still dry as of now, but the Fall feeling is sweeping in as the trees show their first hints of color and the sky turns overcast. Two weeks of school have already gone by as I embark upon my Senior year at Multnomah University (Bible College). Everyone is asking me what I am going to do after I graduate, and answering that question is both exciting and intimidating, because these four years of my life have been planned out for me and I have not had to make to many big decisions. Right now I am looking into graduate schools that offer Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs. This, with an emphasis in Secondary Education and Social Science, would enable me to teach at the High School level in Oregon. Although I am trying to be planned and prepared for the end of school quickly approaching, my goal is to make the most of each moment and appreciate the blessings of each day. And wherever I end up, my goal is simply to live out a life of love and compassion, just as Jesus has loved me and displayed his compassion in my life. Also big news for me in the Port City is my wonderful girlfriend! We have been dating for three months now and we are excited for more months to come. Sarah is a 2012 Multnomah graduate - I met her my Freshman year, and for some absolutely ridiculous reason it took me three years to ask her out...but God has a better sense of timing than I could ever dream to understand. We enjoyed a summer of walks, bonfires, and sunsets, and now as I start school it looks like we are going to be more homework together than anything else, but I can't really think of anyone I would rather do homework with so...yeah. Anyways, I miss you all and please, please, please feel free to call me anytime (that I'm not in class): 619-772-7284.
