"CONGRATULATIONS"

Have you ever wondered what makes a film great? Is it all on the actors? The producers? The directors? Writers? Unless you've worked in Hollywood it's a tough question to answer, and it certainly varies from project to project. So what about Giant? The agency has seen a growing stream of video work since we first embarked on the Edwards projects a few years ago. The range of work has expanded since then, and one person stands out as the driving force and visionary. I'm talking about Jill Regan. Jill has a passion for film and video (if you hadn't noticed) and she has dedicated herself to making Giant's video product some of the best out there, no matter the nature of the project. As an army of one, partnering with Giant brand teams, Todd and Joanna, assorted directors, DPs, producers, and others, Jill has built up an impressive portfolio of work. So now what? This all started as a side job in her role as an ACD of art, but she's now at it full time. First, I'm pleased to announce Jill's new role as Creative Director of Video and Motion. Second, we will be growing the video capability and department (with Jill at the helm) into a Giant offering; this means refined process, clearly defined resources, and business development efforts. This is an exciting new direction for Giant, and a brave new undertaking for Jill. Please join me in congratulating her, and now when you Think Giant, Think Video!
